Javanese Boiled Noodles recipe



In Indonesia, each region has its specialties of food. One of them is noodles. The following is a recipe Javanese noodle from  Yogyakarta / Central Java

Cooking Ingredients:
- 200 grams of wet noodles
- 50 grams of cabbage, chopped fine
- 2 stalks scallions, cut into 1 cm
- 1 chicken, cut into 4 parts
- 5 tablespoons fried onions
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 2 pieces of steamed potatoes, cut into pieces
- 2500 ml water
- 2 stalks lemongrass, crushed
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil



Spices that are:
- 6 units of red chilli
- 15 red onions
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 1 / 2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons salt

How to Cook:
1. Saute half the ground spices, lemon grass, and bay leaves until fragrant.Add chicken, stirring frequently, until it changes color.
2. Add water and bring to a boil. Add soy sauce, the flavor sink in, lift thechicken and then suwir-suwir.
3. Saute remaining spices until done, enter the cabbage and scallions. Stiruntil wilted. Pour the broth and boil.
4. Add noodles, tomatoes, potatoes, and chicken pieces. Serve with friedonions.
